Dr. Willie Taylor: Research Projects Involving Piecewise Linear Maps, 2-3pm, April 16

Willie E. Taylor, Professor of Mathematics, TSU

Friday, April 16, 2021

2:00 pm – 3:00 pm

Abstract

This talk will focus on initiating research in discrete dynamical systems. The tent map and various modifications of the tent map will be presented and discussed. In particular, the consideration will be given to finding period-2 and period-3 points for parameterized piecewise liner maps.
